Being strong is more than a look or bragging rights; it is a feeling. Strength brings confidence, sturdiness, resilience, as well as an ability to move in more functional and dynamic ways. Research shows that strength is THE most important form of exercise for us to practice as we age to help maintain bone density and muscle function. As strength coaches, we want to empower people to have a deeper understanding of how their bodies work, feel great about what their bodies can do, feel confident to push beyond their limits, and 'bullet-proof' their bodies for older age.
"Lifting weights has made a huge difference... it allows me to run with strength in my legs and hopefully a bit of injury prevention but more than that it’s given me a huge amount of confidence"
